Hello, I'm travelling with my 12 year old son in April. Told him if he saved up enough money for his airfare, I would take him and he finally did it! I've visited NYC once a couple of years ago. I braved Times Square only because I had to find a particular baseball cap for a souvenir for one of the kids and it was only available there. I do not enjoy crowds and overly touristy activities. My son, however, really wants to see Times Square. While it's outside my comfort zone, I plan to take him. Is there somewhere in Times Square that isn't over the top touristy (like the many chain restaurants) that we can sit and hang out so he can see the lights of Times Square and we aren't packed in like sardines?
Any help appreciates
Thanks
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
